ABOUT THE PROJECT

This project focuses directly on the Priority related to civic participation with the objective that the participating entities, as well as entities of our local networks, know the European Youth Participation Strategy and learn to integrate it into their daily work with young people with fewer opportunities, training youth workers in its use, and developing youth initiatives and proposals as a result of working with young people with fewer opportunities.

ABOUT 1st LTTA

The YouthPath project  arrived at the stage of the Learning, Training, and Teaching Activity LTTA, which took place in Azores  from 11th of March to 15th of March. Our LTTA in Azores was an incredible journey of growth, collaboration, and empowerment!Â

We kicked off our adventure with partners from Spain, Portugal, and Serbia, diving into the essence of youth active participation. Energizing icebreakers and insightful discussions laid the groundwork for a journey filled with learning and camaraderie.Â

The second day started by immersing ourselves in the rich culture of Azores, we explored picturesque landmarks and dove into developing local activities for the youth. From brainstorming sessions to strategic planning, our collaborative efforts paved the way for meaningful engagement and empowerment.

With focused determination, we solidified our plans for action, outlining concrete steps to bring our vision to life. The spirit of teamwork was palpable as partners supported each other every step of the way, propelling us forward towards a brighter future.Â

As we bid farewell to this incredible journey, our hearts are full of inspiration and excitement for the future. With our plans in place and our partnership stronger than ever, we’re ready to continue making waves in youth empowerment! The YouthPath project is financed by the Erasmus+ program.

ABOUT 2nd LTTA

From March 31st to April 6th, the second mobility of the projectYouthPath took place in Tenerife, Spain — an initiative focused on promoting the active participation of young people in their communities. Pro Active Azores had the pleasure of taking part with a group of Portuguese participants, alongside young people from Spain and Serbia. This youth exchange provided a space to share best practices, methods, and different national contexts regarding youth engagement at local, national, and European levels.

Â

The main goal of the mobility was to strengthen the various forms of youth participation by promoting access to funding opportunities and support for community and solidarity-based initiatives. Through dynamic activities, participants were encouraged to reflect on the state of youth participation in their countries and to design concrete proposals that could be submitted for national or European calls.YouthPath was therefore an important step towards empowering young people as agents of social change, fostering initiative and civic engagement.
